Hola Amigos!
This week has been super duper goood! I turned 20, and now I`m officially una viejita!! We ate lots of torta and causa to celebrate! The best part of the day was when my English class (We teach English some nights in the church) sang me Happy Birthday in English, jajaja my little Ecuadorians are the best people on the planet.
My companion and I have been working hard to find people to teach. The thing is in South America, everyone wants to talk, but not a lot of people want to act. Getting people to go to church is super fun. Sunday mornings are running through the pueblo shouting vamos a la iglesia hermana!! bien reverente dia de reposo.
We also had zone conference this last week. We focused a lot on President Nelson`s talk from Priesthood conference about daily repentance. A lot of people look at repentance as a punishment. But it`s the adversary that wants to look at it that way. Really, it`s an opportunity for us to feel the love and power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives. It´s liberating`and helps us feel happiness. Sin only brings pain, Repentance always brings joy.
